Methodios Ximerakis

Methodios Ximerakis is an Associate Principal Scientist and Team Lead at Merck & Co., Inc., with extensive expertise in molecular biology and translational neuroscience. They previously served as a Senior Scientist at Merck, where they led the Spatial Transcriptomics & Multiomics Sequencing group. Methodios has held research positions at Harvard University and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where they focused on projects related to cellular and molecular mechanisms in brain aging. Additionally, they completed a PhD in Medicine focused on neurodegenerative diseases from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and hold multiple degrees in biology and neuroscience from the University of Crete.
