Miao Chen

Miao Chen is a Senior Scientist at Merck and is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Chicago, where they are expected to graduate in 2025. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Miao focuses on boron and fluorine chemistry, contributing to groundbreaking methodologies in the Matteson reaction. Their innovative work includes the development of a novel vinylene homologation method and a universal approach for polyene synthesis.
