Michael Dwyer

Michael Dwyer is currently the Director of Global Project and Alliance Management at Merck, a position they have held since 2023. They previously served as Associate Director and Senior Specialist in the same department from 2018 to 2022. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as Associate Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Merck from 2005 to 2016, following their role as Senior Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute from 1999 to 2005. Michael earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Colorado State University.
