Michael Friedman

Michael Friedman is a biomedical scientist with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and expertise in biomechanics, cell biology, omics technologies, CT imaging, and data analysis, which supports drug discovery and pipeline development. Michael has held positions as a Research Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they led multidisciplinary projects and mentored junior scientists. Currently, Michael serves as a Senior Scientist at Merck, where they continue to apply their skills in advancing therapeutic development. With a strong background in research across academia and preclinical models, Michael seeks to leverage their experience in emerging scientist roles.
