Michael Gribble

Michael Gribble is a Senior Scientist in Discovery Process Chemistry at Merck, specializing in small-molecule drug discovery and the development of new catalytic transformations for the synthesis of complex organic molecules. With a strong focus on pharmaceutically important nitrogen heterocycles, they bring expertise in mechanistic organic chemistry, reaction kinetics, analytical sc-CO2 chromatography, organic structure determination, and synthetic transition metal chemistry. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and held positions as Associate Scientist and Senior Research Associate at Amgen. Michael earned an M.S. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemistry from The Ohio State University, graduating summa cum laude.
