Niraj Mehta, PhD, is a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical leader with over 15 years of experience in strategic development, regulatory affairs, and quality compliance. Currently serving as Director of Global Quality Compliance at Merck, Niraj is responsible for managing regulatory intelligence and external affairs, alongside leading special projects aimed at efficiency improvements. Prior to this role, Niraj was the Associate Director for Global Regulatory Policy at the FDA, where they played a key role in negotiating an innovative Mutual Recognition Agreement between the U.S. and EU. Niraj's broad expertise encompasses program management and scientific research, supporting the aim of ensuring that drugs are safe and effective for patients.
