Omar Laterza

Omar Laterza currently serves as Executive Director at Merck, overseeing Business Development & Licensing with a focus on Search and Evaluation in Oncology, as well as leading the Translational Molecular Biomarkers team. Prior to Merck, Omar held various roles at Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital, including Instructor of Pathology and Laboratory Director for General Chemistry. Academic credentials include a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Chemistry from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Idaho State University.
