Omer Ad

Omer Ad is a chemical biologist and enzymologist currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Biocatalysis at Merck, leading an interdisciplinary team focused on bioconjugation, bioorthogonal chemistry, and proteomics library preparation. Omer has previously held positions such as Principal Scientist in Applications Development and Staff Scientist Team Lead at Quantum-Si, where they built and led a team dedicated to advancing proteomics applications. Omer completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, following a Bachelor of Science with Honors at the University of Maryland, where they were also an HHMI Undergraduate Research Fellow.
