Robert Hayes

Robert Hayes is a Principal Scientist at Merck & Co., Inc., specializing in protein biochemistry and macromolecular crystallography. With a strong publication record, Robert conducts structural and mechanistic studies on complex multi-protein, nucleic acid, and ligand-bound systems. Previously, they held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cornell University and as a Teaching Assistant in both General Chemistry and General Biology at Washington State University and SUNY Plattsburgh, respectively. Robert earned a PhD in Chemistry from Washington State University and a BS in Biology from SUNY Plattsburgh.
