Samuel Joo, PhD, MA, is a seasoned outcomes research professional with 20 years of experience generating real-world evidence and executing Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategies in the pharmaceutical industry. Joo has held various roles, including Senior Director and Section Head for General Medicine at Merck, where they focus on database projects and epidemiology research methods. Prior to this, Joo served in significant positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Endo Pharmaceuticals, contributing to observational research across multiple therapeutic areas. Joo earned a PhD in Policy Research, Evaluation, & Measurement with a focus on Psychometrics from the University of Pennsylvania.
