Scott Witte is currently the Director of Drug Safety & Metabolism in Global Preclinical Development at Merck Animal Health, a position held since 2010. Previously, Scott served as the Director of Preclinical Pharmacology & Toxicology at Merck Animal Health and held various roles in drug metabolism and safety at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Novartis Animal Health US. Early in their career, Scott worked as a Toxicologist at the FDA in the Center for Veterinary Medicine. Educationally, Scott is pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Maryland, having earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.
