Sid Thapa possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, with a strong focus on vaccine manufacturing and technology transfer. At Merck, from July 2016 to October 2021, Sid held multiple specialist roles, including expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), where responsibilities included authoring electronic batch records and managing system validation. In addition, Sid led vaccine technology transfer and authored regulatory documents in technical operations. Earlier, in the US Army from November 2013 to April 2016, Sid served as an Airframe Technician, specializing in aviation structural components. Additionally, at Rex Medical from October 2011 to October 2013, Sid worked as a Development Engineer, leading the development of medical device packaging and ensuring product safety. Sid holds an MBA from Penn State University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
