Simon Lumsdon

Simon Lumsdon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in formulations and project management within the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors. As Global Formulations Research Manager at DuPont, Simon led a 25-member team focused on developing innovative crop protection formulations. Subsequently, at GSK, Simon held several leadership roles, including Senior Director for Business Performance, overseeing projects to optimize operational excellence and achieve strategic business objectives. Additional responsibilities included managing CMC activities and leading development teams for topical formulations and project management across various therapeutic areas. Currently, Simon serves as Director of CMC Integrated Project Management at Merck. Simon holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Delaware and has further education from the University of Hull.
