Stan Kurowski

Stan Kurowski is a Senior Scientist in Thrombosis at Merck, bringing over twenty years of experience in pre-clinical cardiovascular research within the pharmaceutical industry. Previously, Stan worked as a Research Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute, where they established animal models for cardiovascular disease research and contributed to the development of antithrombotic compounds. Stan's early career includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, investigating drug mechanisms in cardiovascular systems. Stan holds a Master’s Degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II and pursued post-baccalaureate studies in physiology and pharmacology at the University of Houston.
