Stephen Yang

Stephen Yang is currently the Director of the Global Sterile/Validation Center of Excellence at Merck, a position held since 2016. Prior to this role, they served as a Principal Engineer in Technical Operations - Validation at Johnson & Johnson from 2013 to 2016 and as the Associate Director of Sterile Process Validation at Merck in 2012-2013. Yang began their academic journey at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2008, and made significant contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant, including the development of biodegradable polymers for drug delivery systems.
