Thomas Blanda

Thomas Blanda, commonly known as "Randy," is a motivated Senior Scientist at Merck with a strong passion for pharmaceuticals and the medical field. They hold a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Penn State University, where they also conducted undergraduate research. Thomas has accumulated extensive experience in upstream process development and analytical methods in vaccine formulation, contributing to various projects during their tenure at Merck and prior roles at Penn State. They have also mentored undergraduate students and maintained critical laboratory operations throughout their career.
