Thomas Linsky

Thomas Linsky is a protein enthusiast with extensive experience in protein design and computational modeling. They served as a Senior Scientist and Staff Scientist at Pacific Biosciences, where they led projects in protein engineering and sequencing workflow development. Most recently, they held the position of Director, Head of Protein Generation at Generate Biomedicines, managing a team focused on discovery-stage programs and ML-based computational design. Linsky also completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin and has contributed significantly to therapeutic discovery with leadership roles in various biotechnology firms. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Disruptive Technology Discovery Biologics at Merck.
