Wanshu Ma, PhD, is a Senior Scientist II at Merck with over 10 years of experience as a molecular and cellular biologist. Wanshu previously served as a Research Scientist at Northwestern University, where they led projects on therapeutic targets and diagnostic biomarkers, notably discovering Rasip1 as a regulator of lymphatic vessels. Wanshu also held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, developing mouse models for studying lymphatic vasculature. They began their research career at Auburn University, earning a PhD in Pharmacology and publishing several scientific papers. Wanshu is currently pursuing additional studies at Auburn University from 2024 to 2027.
