Wei Deng is an experienced scientist in medicinal and organic chemistry with nearly 20 years in the drug discovery field. They served as Vice President of Chemistry at Shanghai Chempartner from 2007 to 2012 and are currently the Director of External Medicinal Chemistry at Merck MRL (China). Previously, they held the position of Principal Scientist at Infinity Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2007. Wei earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, between 1989 and 1994.
