Weining Hu has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs-CMC at Merck since December 2019. Previously, Weining held the position of Distinguished Scientist in Regulatory Affairs-CMC at Merck from August 2013 to January 2018 and was the VP of Global Regulatory Affairs at Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals from January 2018 to December 2019. Earlier in the career, Weining worked as Associate Director of RA-CMC at GlaxoSmithKline from May 2006 to August 2013. Weining Hu holds a Master's degree in QA/RA from Temple University, obtained between 2002 and 2005, as well as a Master's in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, completed from 1989 to 1992.
