Will Vaughan

Will Vaughan is a Senior Director and Virology Medical Affairs Team Lead at Merck, bringing 30 years of experience in infectious diseases research and clinical practice. Their career began in the Army, focusing on drug delivery technologies, and further evolved through roles in new product development and clinical trials aimed at reducing hospital-acquired infections. Will served as a Physician Assistant and Clinical Investigator in HIV, managing over 30 clinical trials at Infectious Diseases of NWFL and AHF. They have held significant leadership roles, including serving as Senior Scientist at CR Bard and Chemistry Branch Chief at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Will is also actively engaged in local non-profit activities.
