Yanglan Tan

Yanglan Tan is an analytical chemist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Merck since 2022. Previously, they worked as a Research Associate II at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from 2017 to 2021 and as a Research Assistant Professor at the Institute for Nutritional Sciences, SIBS, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2015 to 2017. Yanglan has over a decade of academic experience, including a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Florida, where they were also a Teaching Assistant, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nanjing University. Throughout their career, they have developed numerous bioanalytical methods and contributed significantly to projects involving mass spectrometry and metabolomics.
