Yi Shu

Yi Shu is currently an Associate Principal Scientist in Infectious Disease and Vaccine at Merck. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and over 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience, Yi has contributed to drug discovery and pre-clinical evaluations across various academic and professional settings. They have authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and have extensive experience in RNA nanotechnology, including therapeutic development for cancer and viral diseases. Prior roles include positions at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, Baylor College of Medicine, and AlphaThera, where they developed innovative research methodologies and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams.
