Young Lee currently serves as a Principal Scientist in Biologics R&D at Merck, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Young Lee worked as a Scientist and Team Leader in Cell Line Development at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine from August 2021 to May 2024, and as a Scientific Investigator in Process Development at GSK from September 2018 to August 2021. Young Lee holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Brandeis University.
