Jacob Rush

Jacob Rush has transitioned from a law enforcement career to serving as a general counsel in both the private sector and a government agency with approximately 900 employees. They have experience as a trial attorney in state and federal civil and criminal law, managing a legal department, and overseeing various legal aspects, including contracts and internal investigations. Currently, Jacob is a subject matter expert in AI/LLM legal research, while also being active in the community as a mentor and instructor. They have authored works on technology law and are involved with several professional committees, including those focused on cybersecurity and privacy law. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
