Michael Ashkar

Michael Ashkar is an experienced payroll and finance professional, currently serving as the Payroll Lead at Mercury since January 2023. Previously, Michael held roles as Payroll Manager at BridgeBio from December 2021 to September 2022, and at Iterable from October 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing payroll and GL accounting. Earlier experience includes roles as an Accountant at Got Light, a Billing Coordinator at Ideal, Inc., and an Office Manager at Answer Plumbing LLC. Michael began a career in the automotive industry at Koons Arlington Toyota as a Finance Manager and Sales Representative. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies between 2014 and 2015.
