Robert Gonzalez

Robert Gonzalez serves as General Counsel at Mercury since June 2022, while also holding a position on the Board of Directors at TMC HealthCare since 2021. Previously, Robert was the Director of Legal at Samsara from 2019 to 2022, leading litigation, regulatory, and policy efforts at the public IoT technology company, which saw substantial growth during his tenure. Prior to that, Robert was VP of Legal at Piazza from 2018 to 2019, overseeing legal and operational functions in a regulated sector. As Legal Counsel at CiBO Technologies from 2016 to 2018, Robert was instrumental in scaling the company and implementing corporate infrastructure. Robert began the legal career as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 2009 to 2016, focusing on compliance and litigation for global clients, and also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Dennis Jacobs at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 2012 to 2013. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Political Economy from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
