Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis is an experienced professional in the field of compliance and risk management, currently serving as Risk Lead at Mercury since May 2023. In this role, Ryan is responsible for leading a team focused on balancing BSA/AML, KYC, and EDD regulatory requirements while enhancing customer experience. Prior to this position, Ryan held various roles at Shopify, including Compliance Operations and Merchant Fraud and Risk Management, where Ryan developed a compliance framework for financial products and managed fraud and risk detection. Additional experience includes a position as a Financial Crimes Consultant at Wells Fargo and roles in operational risk and fraud investigation at Rogers Communications. Ryan holds a Master's Degree in Criminology from the University of Leicester and an Associate's Degree in Financial Fraud and Investigation from Centennial College.
