David Murphy

David Murphy is a highly experienced Senior BIM Specialist at Mercury Engineering, where responsibilities include managing projects for semiconductor fabrication plants with an estimated cost of $12 billion. Previously, David held key roles as a 3D BIM Detailing Lead at DPS Engineering and HENSEL PHELPS, contributing to significant projects such as a solar panel manufacturing facility and another semiconductor fabrication plant, with costs of $750 million and $6 billion, respectively. David's career began as an Interior Architect and CAD Technician, supported by a strong educational background that includes a Postgraduate Certificate in BIM Technologies from Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in Interior Architecture from Griffith College Dublin. David has also pursued various additional certifications in design and technology throughout the career.
