Simon Kelly

Simon Kelly is an experienced engineering professional specializing in aerospace and data center projects. Currently serving as a Commissioning Manager at Mercury since June 2018, Simon manages multiple data center projects across Europe. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at Atkins from June 2011 to May 2018, including CPD Lead Engineer for the Airbus A330 landing gear systems, where responsibilities included client liaison and delivering high-quality work packages on time and on budget. Additional roles at Atkins involved internal auditing, systems and certification engineering for the Airbus A350XWB, and stress analysis for both the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus and Airbus A350XWB projects. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Computational Methods for Aeronautics from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, along with an Erasmus exchange experience at INSA Lyon. Earlier experience includes working as a Catering & Banqueting Associate at Westin Hotels & Resorts.
