Michael S.

Michael S. has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as the Engineering Director for the Advanced Concepts Group at Mercury Systems since August 2002. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Mechanical Engineering Manager at Mercury Comp from 2002 to 2010 and worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Sycamore Networks from 1999 to 2002, contributing significantly to the chassis and system design of a long-haul fiber optic transport system. Earlier in Michael's career, between 1990 and 1999, roles at Raytheon included Senior Mechanical Engineer and Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Iridium Main Mission Antenna. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MSITE Candidate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
