Robert Atkinson

Robert Atkinson is an accomplished sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense sectors. Currently serving as Sales Director at Mercury Systems since July 2017, Atkinson leads initiatives for secure and safety-critical processing components. Prior roles include Co-Owner and Sales and Marketing Executive at Richland Technologies, where innovative embedded systems were developed for commercial and defense applications. Previous positions also include Vice President of Sales at Atelka, VP of Sales and Marketing at ALT Software Inc., and Director of Marketing at Engenuity Technologies Inc., where strategic marketing initiatives were implemented for major industry clients. Atkinson began a career in aerospace as an Aerospace Engineering Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force, overseeing CF-18 avionics upgrades. Atkinson holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from McGill University and a degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
