Ron Shields

Ron Shields has over 30 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in engineering and project management. Ron started their career at Radian Corp. as an Engineer in 1991 before moving to TRW as an Engineer in 1993. In 1997, they joined AmSafe Aviation, where they initially worked as an Engineer for 18 years before transitioning to the role of Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer in 2015. In 2022, Shields joined Mercury Systems as a Principal Technical Project Manager.

Ron Shields holds a Master's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they earned between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University from 1988 to 1991.
