Ryan Piddington

Ryan Piddington is an accomplished professional in the environmental sector, currently serving as the Strategic Consents Manager at Mercury NZ since May 2023. Previously, Ryan held roles at 4Sight Consulting as Principal Environmental Consultant and at Manawa Energy as Head of Environment. A long tenure at Trustpower, from 2005 to May 2022, included positions as Environmental and Regulatory Services Manager, Lead Environmental Advisor, and Environmental Advisor, focusing on resource consent portfolio management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Ryan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Brighton between 2001 and 2004 and completed studies at Durban High School from 1991 to 1995.
