Wayne Annand

Wayne Annand is an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in leading development teams and overseeing technical projects across various companies. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Lead at Mercury NZ since October 2022, Wayne manages software development and Mulesoft teams, providing guidance in engineering best practices. Prior to this role, Wayne held several positions at Trustpower including Principal Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Senior Software Developer, with a focus on cloud migration and the development of scalable applications using technologies such as C#, SQL Server, and Azure. Wayne's earlier experience includes technical leadership roles at Octopus, project management at TALKINGtech, and software development positions at INTAZ Ltd, 1st Tech Limited, and EziBuy. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems degree from UCOL.
