Daniel Podoll

Daniel Podoll currently serves as the Director of Donor Offer Development and Foundations at Mercy Ships, a position held since August 2023, focusing on growth strategies in the grant-making sector and high-wealth donor engagement. Prior roles include Corporate and Donor Engagement Officer at AbleLight, where relationship-building with major gift donors was emphasized, and Regional Development Manager at Mercy Ships, managing donor relationships across several Midwestern states. Daniel’s earlier experience encompasses various development roles at the University of Minnesota Foundation and Southwest Minnesota State University, complemented by an MBA in Strategic Management from the UMN Carlson School of Management, along with dual undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
