Michael Amend

Michael Amend has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in both culinary and information technology fields. Since January 2019, Michael has served as a Cook at Mercy Ships, collaborating with a multicultural team to provide meals for 700 volunteers involved in delivering free surgeries. Prior to this, Michael has been a self-employed soccer coach since July 2016, and held the position of Sr. Director of Information Technology at CRG from July 2014 to July 2017, overseeing talent acquisition and staffing solutions across North Carolina. Michael also worked as an Independent Consultant from 2006 to 2014, specializing in sales, recruiting, and contract negotiations, and as Regional Director at Heartland Payment Systems from 1997 to 2006, managing a large sales team throughout the Southeast. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 1991.
