Conor A. Smith

Conor A. Smith, MD, is a skilled orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. Currently serving as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mercy since 2025, they focus on complex arthroscopic techniques and shoulder arthroplasty. Previously, Conor completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Missouri Health Care, where they also held the position of Academic Chief Resident from 2019 to 2024. They are furthering their expertise as a Shoulder and Elbow Fellow at the Texas Education and Research Foundation for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, a role they began in 2024. Conor earned their Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University.
