Donald E. Arnold, MD, FACHE, FASA, serves as the Chair of Anesthesiology at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and as the Director of Western Anesthesiology Associates. They are currently the Immediate Past President of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, having held various leadership roles within the organization, including President and President-Elect. Donald's past experience includes directorial positions at the Anesthesia Quality Institute and treasurer roles at the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research. Educated at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Donald completed their anesthesiology residency there after earning their degree from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
