Katie D. is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Pediatric Dietitian with over 14 years of experience in nutrition and lactation consulting. Currently, Katie serves as a Certified Lactation Consultant for a Level 3 NICU at Mercy, where they manage neonatal nutrition and lead quality improvement projects. Previously, Katie worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Midwest Regional Medical Center and held various dietitian roles in home health and hospital settings. In addition to clinical work, Katie is the owner of Drakeford Consulting, LLC, providing freelance health and nutrition writing and expert medical review services for health brands. Katie earned a Master’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
