Tyrell Coon

Tyrell Coon is an experienced youth support counselor currently employed at MercyFirst since January 2016, while also serving as a counselor at Valley Stream UFSD 13 since October 2014 and as a child care aide at Scope Education Services since August 2014. Previously, Tyrell held various roles including JV football head coach at Holy Cross High School, assistant coach and camp counselor at NFL HSPD, and public safety personnel at The Cornerstone Bar & Grill. Tyrell's earlier experience includes working as a furniture consultant and assistant football coach at Mercyhurst University, and volunteering as a coach and counselor for various football and basketball camps. Tyrell holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership (Human Resources) from Mercyhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Lafayette College. Educational background also includes graduating from Holy Cross High School.
