Shane Garvey is a seasoned product designer currently serving as Lead Product Designer at MERGE since 2018, previously holding the position of Senior Product Designer. In October 2023, Shane briefly worked as an Afforestation Assistant at Hometree, focusing on woodland creation and maintenance. Prior experience includes roles as a User Experience Designer at Xwerx and FoodMarble, as well as participating in event coordination at Dublin Tech Summit and OFFSET Events. Earlier design roles were held at Echo: Design + Architecture, BIAD - Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, Guggenheim Museum, and DGT. Shane holds a Master of Architecture from Technological University Dublin, a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Science from University College Dublin.
