Aaron Chung is an accomplished gallery manager and independent artist based in Brooklyn, currently serving as the Gallery Manager at Merida Studios since March 2023. With a focus on large-scale paintings and paper installation pieces, Aaron has pursued a career as an independent artist since July 2014. Prior experience includes managing visitor engagement at The Museum of Modern Art from June 2017 to March 2023, working as a keyholder at Billykirk, Inc. from November 2014 to July 2016, and participating as a junior researcher in the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, where studies centered on traditional painting methods in South Korea. Aaron Chung holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, complemented by educational experiences at the Studio Art Center International in Italy.
