Tom Studer

Tom Studer is currently the Director of Technical Services at Merit Controls, a position held since 2024. They previously served as General Manager of Solar at Clearway Energy Group from 2022 to 2024 and held various roles at First Solar, including Director of Engineering & Technical Services, where they managed engineering, technology, SCADA, controls, and cyber security. Tom's earlier experiences include serving as a Field Service Engineer at GE and Eaton, as well as Director of Operations at NovaSource Power Services. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2002.
