Sara Beukema is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand identity and creative direction. Currently serving as Partner and Principal Designer at Merit & State since January 2025, Sara focuses on building cohesive and memorable brands for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Prior roles include Business Owner and Creative Director at Formosity Creative, where Sara specialized in elevated design solutions, and Creative Director at The Life Coach School and Matchfire, overseeing diverse creative projects. With a strong foundation as Art Director at Fossil Group, Inc., and experience as Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director at Dell, Sara has cultivated a robust portfolio across various industries. An early career at BrandCory Design Communications, starting as an intern, laid the groundwork for expertise in brand strategy and development. Sara holds a BFA in Communication Design with a minor in English from the University of North Texas.
