Sameer Dhoju

Sameer Dhoju started their work experience in 2017 as a Research Assistant and Python Developer at the Data Exploration and Research Laboratory at the University of Mississippi. In this role, they collected health news articles, analyzed topics using Google Cloud Natural Language, and extracted quotes and speakers using Stanford coreNLP quoteAnnotator.

In 2019, Sameer joined Meritize as a Data Analyst. Sameer automated report generation using MySQL, Python, and AWS Quick sight, built models for loan originations, and identified relationships between company data and third-party data using Natural Language Processing.

Later, Sameer was promoted to Senior Data Analyst at Meritize, starting in April 2021. In this role, they built a logistic regression model to rank default risk on private student loans, analyzed business performance, built dashboards and reports using AWS Quick sight and SQL, and developed data verifiers to minimize errors and automate reports.
