John Tredennick has had a diverse and successful career in the technology and legal sectors. John is currently the CEO and Founder of Merlin Search Technologies, a company that specializes in reinventing search through the use of artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Prior to this, they served as the CEO and Chairman of Catalyst Repository Systems, where they developed and hosted an award-winning software platform for managing complex discovery. During their tenure, the company grew to approximately 180 employees and operated five data centers. Additionally, John founded and served as the Executive Director of the Merlin Legal Open Source Foundation under the Merlin Foundation. Their earlier experience includes working as a Litigation Partner at Holland & Hart. Overall, John Tredennick brings extensive knowledge and expertise in technology, discovery management, and legal services to their current role as CEO and Founder of Merlin Search Technologies.
John Tredennick earned a BA in Speech and Economics from the University of Virginia in 1976. John then went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained a JD degree in Law.
