Tom Yanicky has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering. Tom is currently the Director of Network Engineering at Merlyn Mind since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Independent Contractor at CLEARMONT TECHNOLOGIES INC., specializing in WiFi network design, operations, and management from January 2020 to June 2021.
Tom Yanicky has also held various positions at Altice USA, starting as a Sr. WiFi RF Engineer in October 2013 and ending in January 2020. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the engineering and operations of the largest public WiFi deployment, including initiatives in the public transit space such as New Jersey Transit, NYC MTA, and LIRR. Tom Yanicky has also worked independently as an Independent Broadband Network Consultant at Telecommunication Support Services from October 2008 to February 2010. Additionally, they have experience at Cablevision as a Consultant in 2009, Network Designs, Inc. as a Consultant in 2000, Road Runner as an Engineering Lab Manager from 1997 to 2000, and W. W. Gaertner as an Associate from 1981 to 1983.
Tom Yanicky attended J M Wright Regional Vocational Technical School from 1975 to 1979, where they studied Electronics. Tom did not obtain a degree from this institution.
