Patrick Gearing

Patrick Gearing has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Patrick started their career as a journalist, working for various gigs, before becoming Deputy Editor of Drive Magazine in 1999. In 2003, they became the Editor of Business Day Motor News at Johnnic Publishing. In 2006, they joined Lexus South Africa as a PR consultant, and in 2009, they became a Presenter at ZA Car Show. In 2007, Patrick became the Operations Director at Meropa Communications, a top PR agency in South Africa, before being promoted to Managing Director in 2014. Alongside their other roles, Patrick also owned an independent consultancy called Spannerworx, which later transformed into a classic manufacturing and competition business.
