Merrell Strategy is a premier strategic communications and litigation consultancy based in NYC, operating globally. Founded and led by Alexandrea Merrell, a nationally recognized crisis and media strategist, “MStrat” is known for uncompromising advocacy, discretion, and ability to navigate the most complex and high-stakes personal and professional crises.

Merrell Strategy represents individuals and organizations at the center of public scrutiny, survivors and families affected by high-profile crimes, mass-casualty events, and headline-grabbing scandals; public figures facing reputational collapse; and clients targeted by online harassment, canceling, conspiracy, and weaponized misinformation. We also provide brand strategy, media repair, and crisis-prevention support for celebrities, politicians, corporate executives, and entertainment entities seeking to re-engage audiences, reclaim market share, expand into new territory, or control damaging narratives.

In an era where news cycles move at the speed of a swipe and reputations can seemingly unravel in a moment, Merrell Strategy has earned a reputation for rapid-response execution, strategic litigation support, and quiet resolution of situations before they become public. We are, at our core, a firm of “fixers.” Our work often involves digital and financial forensics, intel gathering, litigation analysis, high-impact visual storytelling, media negotiation, and behind-the-scenes influence operations designed to shift perception and restore control.

From cyberstalking and doxing to defamation, extortion, and cancel culture, Merrell Strategy operates at the intersection of intelligence, law, media, and culture. Our deep relationships with top litigators, civil rights advocates, and media platforms allow us to not only defend our clients—but to change the terms of engagement entirely.

While our client wins often appear in national headlines, our greatest successes are those that never make the news at all.
